I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported, just as you are. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready to explore what’s next, we’ll work together in a way that centers your values, voice, and sense of agency. I draw from a variety of approaches based on what fits you best, and we’ll move at a pace that respects your needs- whether we’re focusing on the present, making space for the past, or imagining the future.
I’m especially drawn to work that explores how early experiences shape who we are and how we relate to the world. Many of the people I work with are carrying the weight of developmental or complex trauma- wounds that can be hard to name but show up in powerful ways over time. Together, we’ll gently untangle those patterns and work toward greater clarity, connection, and healing. As an adoption-competent, adoptee-centric provider, I bring both lived and professional experience working with all members of the adoption constellation. I have a special interest in supporting individuals navigating adoption-related experiences, identity questions, anxiety, and the layered grief that can accompany growth.

As a graduate of Colorado State University-Pueblo in May 2025, I received my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in August 2025. I am also a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and a Social Work Candidate (SWC). With over 7 years of experience in human services, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations, supporting families involved with the Department of Human Services as a life skills worker. Additionally, I spent a year providing clinical services as a therapist during my final year of school. Working in this field has allowed me to truly appreciate the significance of mental health stability, particularly during difficult life transitions. I understand that life’s obstacles can feel overwhelming at times, making the path forward seem daunting. It’s completely normal to feel as though you’re carrying a heavy burden, and I want you to know that you don’t have to navigate these challenges alone.
Healthy communication and exploring the next steps in your life can be empowering and essential for healing, whether you are dealing with depression, unhealthy coping mechanisms, stress, trauma, maladaptive behaviors, or concerns about self-esteem. My aim is to collaborate with you, providing support and understanding as we work together. I am dedicated to helping you raise awareness around your feelings and experiences, equipping you with therapeutic tools to foster growth in the areas that matter most to you. I am passionate about using evidence-based practices, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and solution-focused brief therapy, to help you overcome challenges and achieve personal growth. I look forward to building a strong, trusting relationship with you. Together, we can embark on this journey toward healing and positive change, ensuring that you feel supported every step of the way.

Every story carries sacred significance, intricately woven with threads of culture, heritage, courage, pain, and personal history. As an Asian-American therapist, I understand the importance of representation in therapy and the power of being truly seen. Many of my clients come in feeling disconnected from who they are or unsure of how their experiences have shaped them. I use a person-centered and trauma-informed lens approach to guide our work together, honoring your story while incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support practical growth and emotional understanding. If you are ready to explore your story—untangling what no longer serves you and strengthening the threads that sustain you—I invite you to reach out. Together, we can weave a path toward healing, growth, and a deeper connection to your authentic self.
