I believe that with support, we can all achieve the growth we desire. I also believe that each of us is already equipped with the ability to heal, grow, and learn. Sometimes, we just need some support to find the answers within ourselves. Our journeys through pain, trauma, healing, and growth are unique to each of us, and I hope to meet you where you are and help you find ways to move toward your goals. The most important part of this task is building a collaborative relationship where we can work together to face your challenges with curiosity and strength. Asking for help is scary, but it is also brave.

Feeling safe with others is probably the most critical aspect of mental health; safe connections are fundamental to meaningful and satisfying lives.†- Bessel Van Der Kolk.  I believe that we all deserve relationships that we feel emotionally safety within. Relationships where we can get in touch with our emotions and feel truly felt by another person. I believe in the power of sharing our stories and being seen and "feeling with" another human being can be an incredibly healing experience. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's in Social Work(SWC). As a therapist, I strive to provide others with outside insight, helpful information, and empathy to help you normalize your struggles. I bring good listening skills, and a little gentle humor to each session. My practice is rooted in attachment theory and pulls on IFS and Narrative work.  I am happy to work with clients who have a variety of challenges including- relationships, trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and LGBTQ support!"Recovery can only take place within the context of relationships; it cannot occur within isolation." -Judith Herman

Hi there! I'm Annie, and I am originally from Arizona. I am a 22-year retired Air Force Veteran and a 20-year Coloradan. I am an avid holistic wellness enthusiast. I specialize in chronic illness, autoimmune struggles, unresolved childhood/partner/religious trauma, and the grief that comes with those. I am a mom of two kiddos and an American Akita owner. I love to laugh as we heal. Healing can be fun! Life is often referred to as a book. Two pages are written for everyone; the first is about LIFE, and the last is about death. The center pages are empty. What you write in those pages can be whatever you choose. Even when the book gets dirty, torn, or broken, the blank pages are still there...waiting for you to fill them. Life is full of twists and turns, and how we are fundamentally taught to handle life varies from person to person. We are all so unique. My view of therapy is that of a helpmate. I walk alongside you in your journey toward healing and wholeness. Trauma is written in every single one of our books to some degree. What happens to us can often become a part of our identity. I aim to help you reclaim your true self and walk out of trauma with newfound hope and vision to fill those pages of your story. Let's do this together!

One of the most profound forms of self-love is the decision we make that we are worthy of being fully heard and seen. While therapy can feel intimidating or uncomfortable, it is my priority to create a safe environment where clients can feel authentically themselves. I approach the therapeutic process as walking alongside you, as we work towards the areas you feel are most important to you. I value warmth, genuineness, empathy, learning, and our relationship as the most essential components of therapy. From my experiences working with individuals, couples, and families, I have witnessed the magic of therapy and the unwavering resilience of humans. You are deserving of living a life free of the weights you carry. If you are willing to have me on your side, I would be honored to support you.
