About Skyela
If you’re looking for a therapist who sits stiffly behind a clipboard and never cracks a smile — I’m not your person. But if you want someone who greets you with genuine warmth, can make even the most guarded person smirk, and turns therapy into a space where honesty feels safe, healing feels possible, and laughter is allowed — you’re in the right place.
My goal as a therapist is to help you reclaim your inner strength and resilience, guiding you as you heal from past wounds, navigate life’s obstacles, and uncover hidden strengths you may not even realize you have. I work with others navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem struggles, and those “nothing’s ever going to get better” moments.
What sets my approach apart is the blend of clinical skill and human connection. I use a variety of evidence-based strategies — CBT, DBT, ACT, TF-CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and more — wrapped in genuine compassion. Years of experience connecting with all kinds of people — from explosive teens to exhausted parents to couples navigating communication challenges — taught me how to create a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood(maybe for the first time in a while).
In therapy with me, you’ll find a balance of empathy and accountability, humor, and a safe space to show up exactly as you are. Think of me as your cheerleader, guiding and celebrating every small victory while helping you develop coping strategies, rebuild confidence, and rediscover hope.
I believe therapy should feel human — honest, compassionate, and yes, even a little fun. Together, we’ll work to quiet the inner chaos, set meaningful goals, and uncover a deeper, more authentic sense of self. If you’re ready to start healing, growing, or simply figuring things out one step at a time — I’m here to walk that path with you. Let’s get started!
