About Arias

My dedication to helping others was shaped by formative life experiences and strengthened through years of personal growth and professional development. Serving as a medic in the military was a pivotal experience that deepened my commitment to walking alongside people during moments of crisis, uncertainty, and vulnerability. Since then, I have supported individuals through a variety of roles, gaining a deeper appreciation for the resilience people demonstrate while navigating life’s most difficult challenges.

Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals across the lifespan experiencing trauma, grief, mental health concerns, major life transitions, involvement with the legal system, and other significant stressors. These experiences have expanded my understanding of the many ways people adapt, heal, and create meaningful change.

My education and clinical training have strengthened my therapeutic skills while continuing to shape my empathy, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique story. I am especially drawn to an Adlerian approach, which emphasizes holistic care, social connection, personal strengths, and the belief that every individual has the capacity for growth and fulfillment. I integrate evidence-based practices within this framework to help clients develop insight, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change.

In therapy, I strive to create a supportive and authentic space where individuals can explore vulnerability, develop self-awareness, and approach themselves with compassion rather than judgment. I believe that courage and connection are essential parts of healing, and that when people recognize their strengths and feel understood, they can move toward greater well-being and a more fulfilling life.

“Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it.”— Helen Keller

FAQs about Arias Gonzales LPC

If you have called your insurance and the representative told you that your particular counselor is out-of-network, that is because we submit claims under our group name (Overcomers Counseling) and/or our clinical admin (Jennifer Luttman, LPC) and both of which are in-network.  We accept most major insurances and will provide you an estimated cost prior to your session.

If we happen to fall outside of your insurance network, we can provide you with a superbill. A superbill is a detailed receipt of the services you received which you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.

Medicaid members will usually have a $0 copay for counseling or psychiatry.

Medicaid covers a wide range of mental health services at Overcomers Counseling, including individual therapy, family therapy, psychiatric evaluations, and medication management. Our providers work in solution-focused, client-centered, and other evidence-based approaches, tailored to your goals and needs, all within a safe and respectful environment. Coverage is available across our Colorado Springs, Aurora, Fort Collins, and Pueblo locations, plus statewide teletherapy. Upon booking a session, Overcomers will verify your specific benefits.

A copay, or copayment, is a fixed amount that you, as the client, are required to pay for each counseling when we bill your insurance. The exact amount varies based on your specific health insurance plan.

A counseling session will usually have the same copay as a PCP (Primary Care Physician) visit and/or an Office Visit.  If you have a copay plan, you'll sometimes see your copay listed on your insurance card.

In order to use Telehealth, your web browser needs to have access to your camera and microphone. This is what allows the other participant in a video call to see and hear you. Typically, you may only need to explicitly allow access to your camera and microphone once, but the following instructions outline how to ensure therapy portal can access your camera and microphone in each major browser.

To quickly join your telehealth/virtual session, visit our Client Portal Telehealth. Select your Provider and Join Waiting Room. You don't need to log in to the Client Portal; however, if you want to manage your appointments, you'll need to log in.

The quality of your video call relies heavily on the devices and internet connection the most common issue is poor internet connection or speed. Please be sure you are in a good location with adequate internet.

AI Summary
Across hundreds of client reviews, one theme comes through again and again: people feel truly heard here. Clients describe finally finding a therapist who understood them, gaining real tools for anxiety, trauma, and anger management, and walking away from sessions feeling lighter and more hopeful. Many say Overcomers was the first place therapy actually felt like the right fit — a space to be met with warmth, patience, and genuine care on the path to becoming who they're meant to be.

Rahel Girma, MA. LPCC, NCC
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Rahel has been a joy to work with so far. She's very pleasant and seems excited to help me with my mental health journey. She's very welcoming and easy to warm up. She listens intently, asks meaningful questions, gives helpful advice and affirmations, and is very responsive. She's prompt to our appointments and is very diligent in recalling and addressing things from our last session to help keep the flow and the conversation going. She's also very skilled in facilitating natural transitions in the conversation and topics. I'm very happy and grateful for her professional help!

I can just say the confidence I have today I didn't have before I met Jennifer. She taught me amazing tools for me to be the best mother I have ever been. Trauma is a thing that takes time to heal but I have this.
