Psychodynamic Therapy at Overcomers

Similar to psychoanalytic therapy but often less intensive. Psychodynamic therapy still focuses on exploring your unconscious patterns and past experiences to understand how they influence your present thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It aims to bring unconscious material into conscious awareness.

Finding a Psychodynamic Therapist in Colorado

We believe your past and present are always in conversation, even when you can't hear it clearly.

Psychodynamic therapy explores how unconscious patterns and past experiences shape your current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors — without the more intensive frequency of classical psychoanalysis. At Overcomers Counseling in Colorado, our psychodynamically-informed therapists help clients bring unconscious material into clearer awareness, often connecting present-day struggles to earlier relationships and experiences.

Our team of dedicated psychodynamically-trained counselors blends insight-oriented work with genuine warmth.

Miranda Puente, LSW
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I feel like she listens to everything I have to say in a non-judgemental way. She remains nuetral and provide valid information as necessary and doesnt feed into my delusions, yet help me escape them step by step. When we are speaking i feel she is very attentive and engage in the conversation(s) at hand. I enjoy how relatable she can be on difficult topics. All I have to say about Miranda is GOAT.
