Summary
Across hundreds of client reviews, one theme comes through again and again: people feel truly heard here. Clients describe finally finding a therapist who understood them, gaining real tools for anxiety, trauma, and anger management, and walking away from sessions feeling lighter and more hopeful. Many say Overcomers was the first place therapy actually felt like the right fit — a space to be met with warmth, patience, and genuine care on the path to becoming who they're meant to be.

Barb is incredibly kind and patient. She kept the sessions productive and honest. She made me feel heard and helped with problem-solving. Having her as my therapist for the past several years was vital for my personal growth. I highly recommend her services and would happily return as a client if my schedule ever opens back up.

Hilary Helkenn, PMHNP-BC
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hilary was lovely. She was kind, patient, incredibly knowledgeable and very validating. She had extensive knowledge of my conditions that most providers dismiss and it was very comforting and encouraging to hear she knew of those conditions and was well informed of them. Best psychiatrist I've had yet. 10/10
