Toy Drive & Operation Pay It Forward

Let's make the (new) annual toy drive a smashing success and turn holiday cheer into a well-oiled machine of generosity. Together, we'll collect and deliver joy—one toy at a time—to the Kiwanis Club. Let’s make magic happen!

Toy Drive

This SOP applies to all Overcomers Counseling locations participating in the toy drive and giving throughout the year.

Responsibilities

HR Manager

  • Deliver donation boxes to all Overcomers Counseling locations.
  • Notify staff of box delivery.
  • Pick up filled donation boxes at the conclusion of the toy drive.
  • Deliver collected toys to the Kiwanis Club representative.

All Staff

  • Actively participate in filling the donation boxes with toys.
  • Engage in friendly competition with other locations to collect the most toys.

Procedure

Preparation and Delivery of Donation Boxes

During the last week of October, the HR Manager will deliver designated donation boxes to each of the following Overcomers Counseling locations:

  1. Colorado Springs: Erindale Dr., Citadel Dr., Circle Dr., Centennial Blvd., Barnes Rd.
  2. Pueblo: Hwy 50
  3. Denver: Jamaica Ct.
  4. Fort Collins: Mulberry St.

Staff Notification

Upon delivery of the boxes, the HR Manager will notify all staff members that the boxes are available for collection.

Toy Collection

Staff at each location will collectively work to fill the donation boxes.  A friendly competition will be held between locations to encourage maximum participation and toy collection.

Conclusion and Pickup

During the first week of December, at the conclusion of the Toy Drive, the HR Manager will pick up all filled donation boxes from each location.

Delivery to the Kiwanis Club

The HR Manager will deliver the collected toys to the Kiwanis Club's designated representative.

Operation - Pay It Forward

In an effort to make a greater impact on the communities in which we serve. We can donate to 988 Colorado! The QR code will be posted at all Overcomers Counseling locations for staff and clients who choose to participate in the act of paying it forward.

Review and Revision

This SOP will be reviewed and updated by Human Resources as necessary, particularly in response to changes in public health guidelines, organizational needs, or regulatory requirements. The review will occur annually.
