Share your concerns with the administration

The risk of burnout is often made or broken at the organizational level. Your leadership team can make a critical difference in how you experience your workplace and the support you have access to. You are likely not the only one experiencing challenges, and you may be the only one to speak up.

Overcomer Counseling Strives to Foster Autonomy

OC strives to offer choices and involve individuals in decision-making as often as possible in order to provide a sense of greater control.  By offering flexible work schedules we attempt to allow staff to control their own work structure and work-life balance.  When we involve

staff in decision-making via surveys, yearly reviews with feedback, and open lines of communication for staff to speak directly with Garrett or Jenny with any concerns/feedback that may arise we hope to express that we trust your judgment and abilities. We attempt to

recognize that imposing too many restraints on staff without your input can result in individuals feeling devalued and disengaged. On the flip side, by providing autonomy we strive to encourage engagement, making it invaluable to our organizational culture.

We strongly encourage all staff to speak with the Administration any time a concern arises.
