Get Started with Group Therapy

To get a group started, use the form below.  Once your group is reviewed and determined to be marketable, it will be added to our website, and marketing will begin. It can take anywhere from 1-2 months for marketing efforts to become effective and the group to grow.  To view existing groups, Group Therapy in Colorado - Overcomers Counseling.

Using your current clients is the quickest and easiest way to start a group.  What do they all have in common and would therapy, via a group, benefit them?  

Group Therapy Commitment

Please understand that when starting a group, you are committed to it for at least six months.

Location of Groups

Groups can be held online, or a conference room (once large enough) can be rented at the Circle office. Office 5 at the Barnes office can be used as long as no other clinician occupies the room. Refer to the Office Room Schedule.  Google Meets is a good way to host a HIPAA-compliant group meeting. You must create a Google Meets link and send it to your group members.

Note Requirements for Group Therapy

  • All groups run through TN.
  • You must create a “Group Note,” Treatment plan and Progress note.
  • TN will automatically trigger all notes as a to-do.

Costs/Fees for Group Therapy

  • The typical Self-Pay cost per group therapy session is $30
  • Clinicians, see the Service Code pay list for the hourly conversion.
