Couples Intensives

Are you a couples therapist looking for an additional way to empower couples and earn extra revenue? Our Couples Intensives are a great way to make a difference in relationships. We aim to provide therapy that leads to meaningful growth and change and support our clinicians in their development.

Typical Couples Intensive Schedule

Multiple days/hours can be added as desired by the counselor and client.  A minimum of 6 hours in a single day is required to turn the couple's treatment into a Couples Intensive.  Every block of time (typically 3 hours) triggers a note the counselor must complete.

Pay for the counselor for Couples Intensives

The counselor is reimbursed at $80 per hour, unlike typical couples therapy, which reimburses per service code/hour at the counselor's regular rate. To trigger the couple's intensive rate, a couple must be scheduled for at least 6 hours in a single day. The fee for the couple is typically $100 per hour (e.g., $600 for a one-day Intensive, which is 20% less if they had undergone traditional couples therapy) and must be paid via the Client Portal at the time of the session.

How to become available

A counselor can pitch a couples intensive to any of their existing clients (except Medicaid members) and book a convenient time for both them and the client. Contact Garrett if you'd like days/times to appear on our website so that clients can schedule an intensive.
