Supervising candidates internally or outside our organization can earn you additional revenue. If you are qualified, you can become a supervisor. See the details below.

Supervising Candidates (employed by Overcomers)

New hires will be presented with a list of available supervisors, which can be found here: Clinical Supervision for Mental Health Professionals at Overcomers Counseling.  Jennifer Luttman will email both parties and introduce one another. The Supervisors and Supervisee will determine their number of hours, frequency, and schedule.

If the supervisor/supervisee are a good match, the supervisee will be set up in TN, similar to a client. The supervisee will be sent these documents via the portal:

  • Supervision Disclosure Statement & Contract (Supervisor to Supervisee)
  • Psychotherapist Self Evaluation (Supervisor to Supervisee)

Pay for Supervisors

The current pay for supervisors is:

  • $80/hr per SUPERVISION service code (60 minute supervision session).  This service code is billed at 1 unit per every 60 minutes.
  • $40/hr per SUPERVISION-30 service code (30-minute supervision session).

The supervisees will pay their fees via the Client Portal.

Collaboration Meeting

Once a month, the supervisors meet online to supervise the problem areas and note-writing reviews.  Each attending supervisor is paid $80 for this meeting.  

Supervision Documentation

1st required document is a Professional Disclosure/Contract in the TN Library.  The supervisor is responsible for keeping track of the logged hours of supervision provided to the supervisee; their note count in TN does this.  Please remind your supervisees of their costs.

Group Supervision

Group supervision is an option that Supervisors can provide.  

Supervising Psychotherapy Notes of Supervisees

When possible, supervisors will become the Billing Supervisor of internal supervisees and will be responsible for signing the supervisee notes, such as missed appointments, progress notes, treatment plans, etc.  The Billing Supervisor is reimbursed above and beyond the Clinical Supervisor's fees.  

LPC Supervisor Requirements

Supervising Non-OC Employed Candidates

As a supervisor, you may occasionally be contacted by non-Overcomers employed candidates for supervision or be asked to supervise an employed candidate's hours at another practice. In such cases, the supervisor must use their contract (without the Overcomers header) and independently schedule sessions, avoiding using TN or any Overcomers applications. It’s important to note that Overcomers will not be affiliated or held liable for any supervision provided to non-employed candidates or employed candidates' hours with other practices.
